    Hi,

seems to be a problem with the graphics driver or the GPU itself. Bugckeck 0x00000116 (VIDEO_TDR_ERROR) is pointing to this:

    Code:
2019-01-11 22:02:32 Error: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000116 . A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 8baf8506-44a1-4e29-a8f3-a612afb50ba9.

    1)
Please remove any overclocking on your GPU. Please disable OC & revert back to default profiles in following tools u have installed (those tools are known for causing bluescreens):

    - NZXT CAM Overclock Tools
    - OCCT

    2)
Please uninstall & reinstall the display driver.
Run DDU (YT) to uninstall the display drivers. Display Driver Uninstaller: How to use - Windows 7 Help Forums

    3)
Run Furmark (YT) to stress test your GPU. FurMark - GPU Stress Test | Tutorials
Run Furmark for around 30 minutes.
    Warning:
Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if overheating occurs.

Take a Screenshot and post it here.

    Please perform all three steps.

A VIDEO_TDR_ERROR always relates to the system's graphics card (TDR = Timeout Detection Recovery). This could be down to a number of reasons including drivers, heat, power to the card, a faulty PCI-e slot or simply a defective GPU. It's in your best interests to employ common sense trouble shooting techniques in these situations.

    • Try later and/or earlier drivers
    • Measure the GPU's temperatures at idle and under load
    • Ensure the GPU is free from dust build up and that the fan is working correctly
    • Reseat the GPU and check all connections are securely made
    • Check PSU voltages in BIOS
    • Try a different card in the system

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

Followed all steps and haven't received a crash yet but as I said before, its random.

NZXT CAM O.C. was never used but I use it for lighting and fan regulation.
I have OCCT installed but have never even launched it.
I've overclocked slightly on AORUS Engine but reset to default / silent mode for testing here.
Ryzen 5 is also slightly overclocked (one click UEFI optimal setting @ 3800)

Furmark overclock seemed quite stable at 68C which is fairly normal at that GPU usage.

Wrong, as subsequently your tests & troubleshooting may give no results, i.e. confirm that all is well. And yet the moment you overclock again instability may return.

So either you test with OC, or use PC without.

And: Do you really need to OC?

Not really, just a feature with the UEFI that I haven't seen the need for. It back down to stock and been that way since before the reinstall of drivers and Furmark test.

I noticed these crashes a week ago. I had been running the CPU at 4.0 with no problems. I OC'd the GPU and ran stability tests and everything was fine for about a week. After I started getting crashes I dropped the CPU OC but was still getting crashes. I then dropped the GPU back to stock but was still crashing, Im at complete stock now and really haven't noticed any change in anything except minor framerate losses and higher temps in benchmarks and games but who really needs 100+ fps on a 60 hz monitor anyways?

Ran DDU, reinstalled driver, checked UEFI for stock settings and have been running ok since. Still not sure if it was the driver or card but haven't crashed in the last 3 hours, which is good. Only time will tell. I still have a couple weeks to return the card if things get weird again.

Overclockign BSOD error Codes | Overclockers UK Forums
    Code:
0x116 = Low IOH (NB) voltage, GPU issue (most common when running multi-GPU/overclocking GPU)

Ok, to clarify what Im getting here: When I crash, I don't get a BSOD. It's either just a restart (most common) or my screen just goes black. When it just goes black, the LED on the graphics card goes out but the rest of the LED's in the case remain on and cycling. Pressing the power button (or holding it) does nothing. I have to power off the PSU with the switch to get a restart.

Reinstalling the graphics driver seems to have reduced the crashes to maybe one a day. It's still completely random. I can game ACO, TW3 and BFV on ultra, run furmark, firestrike, heaven, valley for hours stably and suddenly when the computer is sitting idle with an Edge webpage open it will crash, or maybe in the middle of a game. Just installed a NZXT Kraken x62 cooler but other than temp drops, doesn't seem to affect anything.

Im not getting anything in the minidump folder, maybe I set it up wrong?

I'm currently running my rig on the following settings:
CPU- running on Optimal(?) setting on the EZ mode in the UEFI
GPU- running on gaming mode in AORUS Engine.
This the extent of my overclocking. Im not savvy in doing it any other way, my computer is cool enough as it is.

On my monitoring program I get nothing beyond 70C on the GPU and 50C on the CPU/Mobo. Ram tests fine at 2933, lots of ventilation.

    Here's my latest Zip.

Didn't feel it necessary to post a furmark pic as it would be exactly the same as the one above except I ran it for a little over two hours while I went to get my hair cut

Can you provide us with the kernel memory dump please? Its located in C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP.
You can upload it to an cloud service like dropbox or onedrive.

Run the Beta log collector and upload it's zip file please. It collects additional data that may be of use.
