    Random BSODs with unknown cause


    Hey guys!



    Got a problem with my new system.

    I get different bluescreens from time to time.

    My system:

    I9-9900k

    RTX 2080ti

    32GB Corsair RGB Pro DDR4 3600 DIMM

    Samsung 970 Pro 1TB

    DarkPower Pro 11 850

    Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master

    Full Custom Watercooled

    Benchmark: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti video card benchmark result - Intel Core i9-9900K Processor,Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z390 AORUS MASTER-CF


    Just tested around with RAM at 2666 MT/s and the bs still appears. Even without XMP Profile I get bs.

    Any suggestions?

    Have you recently cleaned up your pc to free up space? There doesn't look to be a record of a crash.

    Havent cleaned anything. Just checked the dumb folder and yes its empty. Is windows cleaning them itself? The last crash was about 4 weeks ago. Havent used my pc in those weeks.

    Please run driver verifier using the following settings for 48 hours.
    • Special Pool
    • Force IRQL checking
    • Pool Tracking
    • Deadlock Detection
    • Security Checks
    • Miscellaneous Checks
    • Power framework delay fuzzing
    • DDI compliance checking



    Warning: driver verifier could cause boot issues and/or performance issues.



    Resetting driver verifier options (recommended in this order)
    1. In normal mode open an administrator command prompt and enter the below command
    2. In safe mode open an administrator command prompt and enter the below command
    3. On 3 boot failures, you'll boot automatically to the recovery options,
      • click Troubleshoot
      • go to the advanced options
      • choose command prompt
      • enter the below command

    4. Boot with the recovery media, see above 4 steps in option 3.
    5. Via the recovery options or recovery media, select a restore point prior enabling driver verifier

    Code:
    verifier /reset


    Crashed when running driver verifier
    1. Reset driver verifier
    2. Boot in normal mode if necessary
    3. Follow Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions to provide the requested logs

    Used the verifier and got an instant crash after reboot. Had to jump back to restore point because i couldnt even boot in safe mode. The crash came from gdrv2.sys. After short google i found a post with similar problems caused by the AppCenter and RGB Fusion software of my gigabyte mainboard. Just uninstalled it. I will oc my system again and wait for a crash. I'll mark this post as solved for now. Hope i dont have to come back again :P
