    BSOD Whea_Uncorrectable_Error into multiple Clock_Watchdog_Timeout

    Hello there!

Yesterday evening, as I was playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, I received a BSOD "Whea_Uncorrectable_Error".

After my computer did the usual reboot, after having logged into Windows 10, in less than a minute the PC crashed again with a "Clock_Watchdog_Timeout". And again after login, and again, and again. I don't exactly know what stopped the BSOD loop.

I've had this problem for quite some time. Tried updating BIOS, Mainboard drivers, Sound Card drivers, Graphics Card drivers. Couldn't make it go away and I stopped playing then, since it wasn't fair to my teammates to losing due to my PC crashing.

I would really appreciate you helping me out with this one.

    Kind regards,
    MediumPotato

    Hi MediumPotato,

Is there a reason why BIOS version 3503 is installed? Usually you don't install a BETA version unless it fixes something specific.

Hey axe0, thank you for replying to my thread.

I installed it when I was looking for ways to fixing the bluescreens, it must have been some time ago. I didn't know that you shouldn't install beta versions without a specific reason for it. Should it be my first step to revert back to version 3003?

I recommend to revert back yes.

Unless you have the intention of doing things that could crash your system (like overclocking or testing software) it's rarely recommended to try and install beta software. This applies even when it's for good intentions, because it could make things worse.

Alright, then that's the first thing I'll be doing. Thanks!
The problem is that as far as I remember, the bluescreens weren't fixed by upgrading to the beta version, so my original problem is probably still going to be present. I don't want to do any overclocking or testing of software, no.

edit: Reverted back to BIOS version 3003.

Please let your system crash a few times, then upload new logs.

Alright, will do. Well, will wait for it to happen. It might take some time tho, so I hope this thread doesn't close automatically after a certain amount of time. Thank you very much for your support, axe0!

    You're welcome

Don't worry about time or anything. Threads won't be closed unless it's for a certain reason like a discussion going in the wrong direction.

    Hello there,

the Whea_Uncorrectable_Error came back while I was playing Final Fantasy XIV. After the bluescreen completed its information gathering process, the PC rebooted. I entered my password, started Chrome and it crashed again a few seconds later with a Clock_Watchdog_Timeout. The bluescreen got stuck at ~30%.

I attached the latest V2 log.

Thanks for your help in advance and sorry for my suboptimal English.

    Kind regards,

Could you upload the memory dump, C:\Windows\MEMORY.dmp, to onedrive, google drive, dropbox or whichever service you prefer and post a share link without restrictions (e.g. password requirement).
This file will be too large to upload directly.

Copy the dump to another location first to prevent any access issues, and then upload it. The dump files created with BSOD crashes cannot be properly accessed from their original location. I recommend to copy the dump using an admin command prompt or admin powershell.
    Syntax for copying a file
    Code:
    copy <original path> "<destination path>"
    Example of usage
    Code:
    copy C:\Windows\MEMORY.dmp "%userprofile%\Desktop"

I had a look at the minidump of the 0x124 and below is something I noticed.
This is some information about the memory in your PC, notice the speed difference (red marked). This looks like the GSkill's memory is using an XMP profile, could you please set the memory settings to their default in the BIOS so all memory is running at the same speed and no overclock is set.
    Code:
    [Memory Device (Type 17) - Length 40 - Handle 0043h]
      Physical Memory Array Handle 0040h
