    Win10 crashed - EV shows EVid 1001

Windows 10 pro, ASrock specs. My son was playing Subnautica from Epic out of nowhere blue screen and crash dump , rebooted now back and running below is the error from EV, I was not able to locate the Dump file in Windows. I have attached how startup and recovery is setup.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff800e338dd37, 0xffffc887ebcf8f78, 0xffffc887ebcf87c0). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: c655cd42-8d66-49ce-ae48-3c7b79b99fca.

i installed Windbg64 to see if can open dump file but again can not locate it, files and folders hidden is turned off.

    See posting instructions.
Run the BETA log collector and post a zip into this thread.

BSOD - Posting Instructions - Windows 10 Forums

    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) sfc /scannow
    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    4) chkdsk /scan
    5) wmic RecoverOS set AutoReboot = False
    6) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    7) Please make sure that there is no overclocking during the troubleshooting process

    8) In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings
    > on the advanced tab under performance > click on settings > on the performance options window > click on the advanced tab > under virtual memory > click on change > post an image of the virtual memory window into the thread

    9) If the computer has Ccleaner (do not install the software if it is not already installed) > click windows tab > scroll down to system and advanced > post an image into the thread

One of the above commands will modify the startup and recovery system failure settings.

When automatic restart is checked it can be easy to miss BSOD.
When there is a BSOD and automatic restart is unchecked it should display a bugcheck window with bugcheck and : (
Sometimes a misbehaving driver may be displayed in the form *.sys
At the very beginning of a bugcheck you may see a % counter.
If you see the % counter allow it to rise to 100% before rebooting so that there is sufficient time to create the dump file.

thank you Z book - i will run those commands. I do not have cc cleaner installed never see any point of it.. i unchecked the restart automatically in startup and recovery to not miss the BSOD screen info,

Also to note i recently did update this box with the latest Windows 10 feature update. OS Version: 10.0.17763 N/A Build 17763

i will post rest later... have a goodnight.
