    Bsod: Dpc_watchdog_violation

Lately, my computer has been freezing up at random intervals. Sometimes there's a BSOD with the error in the title, and sometimes it just freezes with no bluescreen (typically when I'm playing a game). I've collected the logs and attached them to the post. Any guidance or assistance would be appreciated.

The usual reason that no one can provide any help is because there is not enough information or because the error is unusual.

In this case there is only one crash dump file and it is a type that is not easily debugged. It would help to have more crash dumps (please upload a new set of logs and we should capture a few more) and also a link to a full kernel dump (memory.dmp) which you will need to share via OneDrive.

Attached to this post is the latest set of logs, captured by the TenForums tool.

How do I acquire a full kernel dump?

Also, this started happening after I installed the 1809 update. Before that, there were no problems whatsoever.

Looking at the extra dumps and the kernel dump has shown that the crash is consistent and seems to be associated with ACPI.sys. This is a windows system file and can only be updated with Windows Update. ACPI is the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface and so it suggests that it might have something to do with components entering power saving mode. Does it happen on battery power, mains power or both?

It may have something to do with the upgrade to 1809, can you contact Toshiba and see if anyone else has reported similar problems?

It happens both on battery power and when it's plugged in. This was an avenue I pursued when the error started happening initially, and I went and disabled all power saving measures I could find, to no avail. I can try contacting Toshiba, though seeing as the warranty has long since lapsed (this is a near four year old laptop) I'm not sure how much help they will be.

The debugging of the NDIS dump displayed a misbehaving hardware driver: Netwbw02.sys
The debugging of the memory dump displayed a misbehaving hardware driver: Igdkmd64.sys IGFX

The NDIS dump file was created approximately one month ago.

See if replacing both of these drivers creates a more stable computer environment.

The computer has two 6 GB DDR3 RAM modules.
    The RAM modules are mismatched?
The 4 GB module is Samsung.
The 2 GB module is Kingston.
For what period of time has each RAM module been in use?

Run Memtest86+ version 5.01 for 8 or more passes.
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

The test is not done by time but by passes.
The more the passes the better the testing conditions.
    The testing must be continuous.
    Memtest86+ version 5.01 takes approximately 1 - 2 hours / GB RAM
A substantial portion of the testing can be performed overnight.
Just one error is a test fail and testing can be aborted.
Then remove both RAM modules and re-seat one module at a time in the same DIMM for 8 or more passes to differentiate good from malfunctioning RAM.
After each RAM test please use a camera or smartphone camera to take a picture and post images into the thread

In regards to the WiFi/Ethernet and graphics drivers, I updated those myself when the problem started happening, in an attempt to mitigate the freezing problems. The versions currently installed are the latest ones available for my hardware.

The biggest problem with running those RAM tests is that the computer will, inevitably, BSOD, more than likely several times, seeing as it has bluescreened on me at any point from half an hour after boot to up to two or three hours after boot. and the tests will never be able to be completed. As far as I am aware, those RAM modules have been in there since initial purchase. Also, this morning I had another bluescreen: DRIVER_STATE_POWER_FAILURE. I have logs and a memory dump attached here.
