    Bsod dpc watchdog violation

    Hi all,

I have been having BSOD for around a week.
It happens recently but it felt it it happens quicker when I am watching youtube.
I tried reinstalling my graphics card driver but didn't seem to help.
I have also tried updating my bios, still no use.
I have no idea what can I do, please help.
I did not overclock anything at all.

    Hi donaldip,

Welcome to the Ten Forums BSOD forum.

The logs were in a foreign language and could not be scanned or read.

Add, Remove, and Change Display Language in Windows 10 | Tutorials

The bugchecks were 133 and there was one misbehaving hardware driver: Nvidia GPU drivers nvlddmkm.sys

    Perform the following steps:

    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) sfc /scannow
    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    4) chkdsk /scan
    5) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    6) Make sure that there is no over clocking while troubleshooting.

    7) Uninstall all drivers installed by Driver Easy

    8) If you are unable to determine the drivers that were installed then perform a system restore to a date prior to the installation of the driver easy software and any drivers that were installed using the software

    9) Sometimes a clean install is needed in case the system restore is unavailable or fails

Third party websites can install unknown files.
The best tested drivers are always displayed on the computer or motherboard manufacturer websites.
For a driver that is needed and not displayed then the best sources are the component manufacturer websites: Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Killer Networks, Realtek, etc.

    10) uninstall the Nvidia GPU driver using DDU (display driver uninstaller)
    11) re-install the Nvidia GPU driver from the Nvidia website
    12) make sure that you check the clean install box and if available install the physx driver.

Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 18.0.0.4 (or newer version if available)
Display Driver Uninstaller: How to use - Windows 7 Help Forums
    NVIDIA
Download Display Driver Uninstaller - MajorGeeks

    13) For any new BSOD (after performing the above steps) post two files:
    a) BETA zip
    b) C:\windows\memory.dmp if the file size is < 1.5 GB

    14) If there are more nvlddmkm misbehaving drivers then plan to replace the driver one more time with a different version. Then if there are still misbehaving drivers plan to test the hardware.

    Hi donaldip,

There have been quite a few systems which have been having these bugchecks recently and many have been running an older version of Intel Rapid Storage Technology. Your system also seems to be running an old version as well (2014.) My recommendation would be to uninstall IRST unless you've used it to create a RAID array for your system. If you are using a RAID setup then I'd suggest updating to the latest version of IRST from here.

Thank you zbook and cwsink for your ideas!
I will try out both of your methods, hopefully I'll come back in a while with good results!
    Thank you very much again!

    Hi guys,

Been a while now, tried out a couple of methods you suggested.
    Uninstalled the IRST, didnt help.
sfc and dskchk didnt find any problems.
But the problem seems to be solved when I reinstalled drivers using DDU.
I guess the problem was Geforce Experience installing the latest driver with some issues in the process.
Thank you all for your help guys!
