    follow-up

I've attached screen shots as requested, x3. System & Recovery, Virtual Memory settings and CCleaner screen shots all attached.
The BIOS/UEFI was reset earlier today.
I don't save any files on my c:\drive - everything is up on a Synology NAS.
The K:\ drive is a Lacie external drive with a bunch of cbr files, is almost completely full and will be offline regardless. This is a drive that's only recently was brought up, well after the BSOD's began. If I need to shut this down, I can though.
Restore point created with today's date.

Of note, I've been purposely pushing the PC pretty hard since removing the overclocking and it has yet to BSOD. Crossing fingers.

    1) For Ccleaner uncheck:
    a) Memory Dumps
    b) Windows Log Files

    2) For startup and recovery system settings:
    a) uncheck automatically restart
    b) change write debugging information from small memory dump to automatic memory dump
    c) the dump directory should change from mini dump to memory dump
    d) reboot to maintain settings

    3) When automatically restart is checked it can be easy to miss BSOD.
When there are BSOD and automatically restart is unchecked you should see a BSOD window with bugcheck and : (
Sometimes you may see a misbehaving driver in the form *.sys
At the very beginning of a BSOD you may see a % counter.
If you see the % counter allow it to rise to 100% before rebooting so that there is sufficient time to create the dump file.

    4) Had you used Windows driver verifier in November 2018?

not sure what Windows Driver Verifier is and didn't see it on the link provided earlier. I'm reluctant to google that as the generic title isn't guaranteed to guide me to the correct tool. Is it this?? Verify if System Files and Drivers are Digitally Signed in Windows | Tutorials

I've made the changes in S&R as requested and will reboot after posting this.

One update - I woke up to find my PC completely off again and this time would not power up with a simple button-press. There were no "dummy" lights on the back of the pc so i ran another power cable from another outlet and the dummy lights came on and i was able to power the PC up. It turned out that my UPS (CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD) was powered off. Only my PC (no monitors, nothing else) is plugged into the unit (and i didn't hear it screech). I've since powered it back up and plugged the pc back into it... So unless there was some kind of power spike that the PC generated and caused the UPS to freak out, I suspect these (2x) random power downs are non-related to the BSOD issues. Coincidental and frustrating... but non-related. Do you agree?

There was an entry in the logs with C4 that is typically related to the use of Windows driver verifier.
The information about this tool is in post #10 step #6.

Make a backup image using Macrium:
Macrium Software | Your Image is Everything

Save the backup image to another drive or to the cloud.

Make a brand new restore point.

Open the BIOS and post images into the thread using a share link (one drive, drop box, or google drive)
What are the BIOS 3.3, 5 and 12 voltage values?
What are the CPU voltage and frequency?

Good to hear your report that you have had no further BSOD since removing the overclock. I think the incident with the UPS was unfortunate but I tend to agree that this was a separate issue.

zbook - what tool will allow me to screen shot from the bios/uefi? Do you need this, as I've reset the UEFI back (F5/F10) to stock settings.

I've been pushing my PC pretty hard - harder than usual anyways - and, knock-on-wood, haven't had any BSOD's since removing the OC'ing settings. I did have a "scare" while bulk converting (down-scaling) a bunch of flac files to mp3 - my mouse froze - but after a wiggle or twelve, the USB connection noise sounded and the mouse responded. I know there were (are?) issues with the Steel Series mice/keyboards doing this - anyone hear about Logitech mice/keyboards doing the same? (G703 working with PowerPlay mouse pad/charger combo and the G Pro). Just guessing here, but could the recent BSOD's and the mouse/keyboard freezing both be CPU overclocking related but with different symptoms of the same disease?
I'll continue to keep an eye on this and if I have any further BSOD's (or freezes) I'll update. Do I need to repost the Beta captures if that does occur? Please let me know.

For BIOS settings please use either a camera or smartphone camera to take pictures and post images into the thread.
Overclocking is a very common cause of BSOD.
If there are no BSOD when returned to stock that should be sufficient.
Several days of observation and possibly a week would be useful.
Another BETA zip can be posted tomorrow to see if there is anything actionable with regards to BSOD findings.

I wanted to thank the gurus that assisted in troubleshooting my BSOD and screen-freeze issues. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

I haven't had any issues since stripping the OC settings out of my UEFI. While I'm disappointed that even mild upticks yield negative results in Windows 10 (and not in Win7..), I'll veer on the side of stability every time.
