    BSOD DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, nwifi.sys failed

    Hello!
I got a BSOD several hours ago but I don't recall doing anything out of the ordinary.
It happened while I was on discord with an idle game running in the background.
This is also the first time it happened, I bought my computer roughly 2 weeks ago.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Nakres,

Welcome to the the Ten Forums BSOD forum.

    1) In general brand new computers should not be having BSOD and the computer should be returned to the manufacturer.
See if you can contact HP to get a return merchandise authorization (RMA)
The logs displayed corrected hardware errors in addition to BSOD.

If you prefer to keep the computer and troubleshoot steps are outlined below.
If you want to use the findings and test results to discuss with HP that also can be done.

    2) Please perform the following steps:

    3) Update the specs in the "My Computer" section: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0000nb

System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums | Tutorials
In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.
After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.

    5) If there are any difficulties finding either dmp file then download and install Everything: voidtools
Comment into the thread whether you were or were not able to find the files using file explorer.

The backtrace in the crashdump shows that Windows was processing network traffic, specifically dealing with your Realtek RTL8821CE Wi-Fi card.

The two PCIe vendor ids translate to:

Realtek (0x10EC) which is the manufacturer of both your wireless and wired network cards.
Sandisk (0x15B7), the ODM of your SSD that is rebranded by Western Digital.

There's a few things that you can do to both troubleshoot the problem and to ease a potential return to HP.

    Update your Realtek wireless driver
Here is a link to HP's suggested Wi-Fi driver for your device. Your current Wi-Fi driver version is 2023.66.1222.2017, but HP is suggesting 2023.66.1113.2 as the recommended version.

    Run HP's UEFI Hardware Diagnostics
Install HP's UEFI Hardware diagnostics package if you haven't already. Once it is installed, reboot your computer, and continue tapping the escape key until you are presented with a boot menu. Select System Diagnostics (F2), and run an extensive system test. This will likely take an hour or two. Here's HP's video guide for UEFI diagnostics.

    Update your BIOS
You are on version F.12, but the current BIOS for your device is F.20. This may help resolve the corrected PCIe errors as well.

See if there is a firmware update for your SSD
Install Western Digital's SSD Dashboard to check your SSD's health and to see if firmware updates are available. If there are any updates available, install them as they may fix the corrected PCIe errors being reported. Also if there are any warnings about the drive's health you can report this to HP when/if you are requesting a return.
