BSOD at various times, Dump .zip file attached

    Hello,

I've been having this same BSOD "CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT" error for a couple weeks. It happens every couple days, sometimes when the computer is idle, sometimes when playing a game or working in Qt Creator.

    What I've done:
    • Made sure Windows is fully up-to-date
    • Updated GPU driver from nVidia's website
    • Updated all drivers I could from ASUS website for my motherboard
    • Went through Device Manager and updated all drivers (none updated)
    • Full reinstall of Windows then repeated the above

I only have the last two .DMP files (the ones since Windows reinstall).

    My PC
    • Windows 10 Home 64-bit
    • Intel i7-6850K CPU @ 3.60GHz
    • GeForce GTX 1080 GPU
    • 32 GB RAM
    • MalwareBytes is my antivirus

Thank you very much for any help.

    - Eric

Can you provide us with the kernel memory dump please? Its located in C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP.
You can upload it to an cloud service like dropbox or onedrive.

I guess I'm not sure. It's active fairly regularly. I never had a problem with it in the past but if you see a problem with it, I'll turn it off and see. Would I need to simply keep it turned off or would it need to be uninstalled?

0x101 is usually hardware, but in one of the crashdumps I can see the VPN driver crashing:

    Code:
    ffffd604`5d245828 fffff804`da588aa8Unable to load image \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\tapnordvpn.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for tapnordvpn.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for tapnordvpn.sys
     tapnordvpn+0x8aa8

U can just turn it off and wait and see how it goes

Can you also post the beta log collector files - details given at the end of the BSOD posting instructions.

    Thanks!

    Attached Beta Logging Results

    Hello,

I just got another BSOD. I decided to try updating to the beta version of the BIOS to see if that helps. Also attached are the requested beta logging results.

    Thank you,
    Eric

Thanks! Can you also post a link to the new memory.dmp file? We really need this to properly analyse 0x101 crash dumps.
