I have the same Qualcomm Atheros AR8161 Ethernet Card, the drivers come from Windows updates, ver 2.1.0.21 is what is says for mine. The Laptop manufacturer no longer supplies drivers. That is a Windows 8.1 64 bit driver same is used for Windows 10.
    Qualcomm Atheros AR8161.

It is in the MS update catalogue, so are versions 2.1.0.13 and 2.1.0.7

It is also listed in that Gigabyte MOBO downloads of Drivers 2.1.0.21

So just going to the Device Manager and update driver should do, if not uninstall scan for new hardware etc. Should be automatic.

Or install the one given by Gigabyte for Windows 8.1, your picture shows it (Atheros LAN driver)...Click on "Europe" to download it.

I notice Gigabyte also supply a "LAN Optimizer", my instinct would be to uninstall that. Again available under Utilities if you want to put it back.

Thanks for the info, but sadly its still happening, what i didnt try was uninstalling that lan optimizer, but i cant find it, can u show me ? thanks
