Dump doesn't have any useful data in it. There is a full memory.dmp available:
    Code:
    Crash dump found at C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP
    Creation date: 12/26/2018 15:00:44
    Size on disk: 1014 MB
Zip that up and upload to OneDrive or another file sharing site and post a link to it here. Maybe there is more information in it than in the small memory dump.

Also, Nvidia has a new driver available: Version: 417.35 Release Date: 2018.12.12
Give that a try even though the dump did not indicate a Nvidia problem?

About my GPU, I've had so many issues with it I'm considering throwing money at the problem and upgrading to a 1080. lol.

Downloaded the memory.dmp. The only thing different I saw was that it indicated a problem with MsMpEng.exe which is part of Windows Defender. You can try a different Anti-virus program as a test.

This is what I see as installed (uninstallable actually) on your system. Are all those versions of Visual C++ Redistributable required or are some of them just left over?

I'll check into using AVG again. As for the redistributables, most get downloaded when you install various Steam games. I doubt I need even 90% of those, I'll have to examine them further.

    Thanks as always.

I almost never recommend moving away from Windows Defender, but suggest doing this just as a test. Maybe it's interaction with something else or maybe it's totally bogus and means nothing. Worth trying for a little while.

The full memory dump once again shows a problem with the Nvidia driver.
    Code:
fffff88a`c1c3b238 fffff804`d0879710*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys
     nvlddmkm+0x229710
Looks like you are running version 411.70 dated 9/25/2018. The latest is 417.35 dated 12/12/2018. You can give that a try though I know you tried other versions before. If you want to try this, use DDU as follows:

Remove and install latest Nvidia drivers:

I suggest completely uninstalling the Nvidia display drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from WagnardMobile here: Official Download Here. Do this in Safe Mode. Then get the latest driver for your Nvidia card here: NVIDIA Driver Downloads

Then do a custom install of only the NVidia graphics driver and the PhysX driver.

See if that gets rid of the problem.

Did you ever do the memory test that @zbook requested. With 16GB of ram it will take 12 to 16 hours to run 8 full passes which is the minimum required for a valid test.

I ran the windows memory diagnostic today and it came back no errors. I know this is not an effective test, I'll do memtest when I go to sleep tonight and let it run the recommended amount of passes.
