Random BSOD - Windows Support Directed Me Here

So the kind folk at windows support community directed me here - I am hoping someone might be able to help.

Persistent random BSODs - usually IRQL, but also buffer stack over run. Note my machine now bsods within 10 seconds of logging in so sharing a link from my last "stable bsod" i.e. the last time I had enough time to upload the memory dump file before BSOD.
    HTML Code:
    https://ufile.io/trwxg
. I apologize for not being able to use the BSOD posting instructions. The verifier.exe was enabled for standard settings.

    Machine details
My machine was a windows 7 pro, Intel DX79TO, I7 3930k (mildly over clocked to 3.6 via turbo) , with 48GB RAM. Was stable till three months back - was set up in 2012. Now it randomly BSODs with varying message - usually driver stack or IRQL. I tried the following and the issue still remains.

What I have tried so far:

    1) Update Bios 2) Upgrade cooling to liquid cooling Corsair H100i pro, 3) Upgrade to windows 10 pro 4) Update all drivers (including pcie) 5) check ssd health,6) run memtest for 12 hours (no errors) 7) run prime 95 for 12 hours (bsoded a minute after I stopped prime) 8) OCCT - stable for 4 hours 9) used PSU tester - psu is fine 10) stock clock with no turbo at 3.2 (still boded) 11) whocrashes says software issue likely. 12) reinstalled Windows 10 - deleting all prior programs - clean install from MCT. I also reduced ram to 8gb (tested for 8 passes on Memtest). 13) Swapped out with new GPU. 14) switch from USB wifi to lan ethernet. 15) Also switched off turbo.

Interestingly BSODs happened both when Idling and when under stress - while also working for 12 hours at a stretch with no BSOD under Prime 95.

I would really appreciate any ideas/help at this point - as far as I can tell - cpu and memory are fine. Motherboard - cant determine. The PSU seems fine. Drivers - there are only 4 types of non microsoft drivers - intel drivers, corsair cooler drivers, gpu drivers and keyboard HID drivers active.

May I note that my computer is a real stable BSOD - for those who know it my 3930k is now a BOSD-K.

Hello, PhaedRusEngne and welcome to Tenforums. Unfortunately, I am not one of those experts they told you about at MS Answers, that would be @axe0 or @zbook. I did notice on your MS Answers thread you had a few links to Minidumps. Could you possibly post them here? It would be a great help to have those dumps.

I may also suggest you download kyhi's Windows 10 recovery tools and boot from it and see if you can run stable. It would also allow you to explore your windows drive and copy the dump files, zip them up and upload them here or somewhere else if they are too large. It would also afford you the opportunity to copy out your personal files, just in case. There are also some imaging utilities included as well as some recovery tools. It's a very handy application. Of course, you would need access to another machine to download it and create a USB drive to boot from.

If you haven't already, I would suggest you disable Driver Verifier. Under Disable Verifier see option 2 in this tutorial Enable and Disable Driver Verifier in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials

Have you recently installed any new software or hardware? Can you boot into BIOS and run without a BSOD?

    Hi PhaedRusEngine,

    Please disable driver verifier.

If you can't get into Windows at all, please follow Essenbe's first post regarding the recovery tools.
We need multiple dumps, most preferably a log collection from the BSOD Posting Instructions for analysis.

Also, I would recommend to focus on 1 forum at a time so as to not get confused.

Got it - will a) disable verifier (would love to know why) and b) boot up with Bootable PE Rescue Disk. Will revert in a few hours. Thanks.

From what I understand, driver verifier causes the BSODs at boot. Not knowing whether the BSOD crashes at boot started before or after driver verifier this is merely a suspicion. If this suspicion is right you should be able to boot back in Windows and provide the dumps, if driver verifier caused at least a few crashes it can provide us more information.

Got it. Attached is the zip file. Miraculously my machine seems to be up - I did switch to vga from dvi and hdmi - but doubt that is the issue - well here is hoping you can see something in these files.

So the machine BSOD'd on my restart (as it was shutting down)- so VGA/HDMI is no different. I am now driving off the usb drive. Lets see if this crashes as well - I assume if it does then it probably means hardware issue - most likely mobo as cpu/mem "passed" prime/memtest ? Will keep posted.

Runing prime 95 , mostly because I have no idea what else I could do over night

    Thanks for your help.

Please run CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID, open it and make screenshots of the following tabs
    • CPU
    • Mainboard
    • Memory
    • SPD*
    • Graphics

*SPD shows the details of each stick, you can show the details by choosing different slots in the left upper corner.
Please make screenshots of each stick.

Please post each screenshot in your next reply/replies.
