    BSOD after October Update

About 5 days ago I installed the October update manually and after that I get 10 bsod per day.
The most common errors are: memery managment, access violation, page fault in nonpaged area and other.
Errors indicate that I have a problem with RAM. Taking out one of the slats, I get an error in the first minutes of work.
The standard tool for checking memory from Windows also says that I have problems with RAM. But before the update everything was fine.
I dropped Windows to the previous version, but it did not help.
Please tell me what I can do to fix this.

    Hi johnseana,

I would recommend to revert the October update for now until it gets more stable.

If you prefer to keep using the October update, please let me know.

I have already reset to factory settings (with user data saved), this did not help

On what version did you end up after resetting to factory?

The built-in memory test isn't very good as it often doesn't detect problems, but if it says that there are issues with the memory then there are issues with the memory.

I recommend to keep testing the memory with the built-in test like described in MemTest86+ - Test RAM | Windows 10 Tutorials, you need to find out which stick(s) and/or slots are causing the issues.

I launched memtest86. There were 10,000 errors. Problem area of memory 14000-14300. Does this mean I need to replace the memory bar?

I suggest you narrow down what part causes the errors before replacing.

it could be one of the RAM chips is bad and needs to be replaced

I noticed "Corsair Vengeance LPX Schwarz 16GB DDR4 Kit" is listed in OP's specs but we need the "speed" of that Corsair DDR4 RAM chip; look on this page to see what RAM chips should be used with your MSI board.
