Newly built PC worked last night, now it won't power on

So, yesterday night my PC was working just fine. But when i got home from school today the PC would not turn on. I tried a lot of things, using my monitor's power cable, plugging the same cable into my monitors, taking out the RAM and putting it back in, booting with one stick of RAM, and unplugging and holding down the power button for 30 seconds and plugging back in, but none of these seemed to work. If it helps, here are my specs:

    Intel i7 8700

    GTX 1080

    8 GB RAM x 2

    600W power supply

    500GB SATA SSD

Just realized this is the wrong section. I thought it meant BSOD, crashing and debugging, not BSOD crashing and debugging, so if someone could move it yeah that would be good

or you could just answer it

Is anything happening at all when you press the power button on the PC? Do any case fans turn on, any lights on the motherboard, etc?

    I would make sure that
1). The cable from the powerswitch on the case is plugged in securely to the posts on the motherboard
2). The big 20 or 24pin ATX plug from the power supply is plugged into the motherboard.

This happened to me once before after i noticed there was a power outage when i came home.

First try testing your power supply make sure it is o.k.. After i tested mine it showed to be good, odd thing i tried and worked was to remove the CMOS battery and then replace it all was fine. This will restore the BIOS to default settings.
