Games Crash to Desktop With No Errors (All Games) Occasional BSOD

    Hi guys,

I really hope someone can help me on this one!

For the past couple of months I have been plagued with games minimising, crashing to desktop with no error messages and I'm completely fed up as I feel like I have tried everything to fix it but just can't.

I'm hoping someone on here knows how to read windows .dmp files as I have just found these today but again I don't really know what I'm looking at here! Anyways, my specs:

    Intel Core i7-7740X 4.3GHz (KabyLake X / Basin Falls) Socket LGA2066 Processor
Asus TUF X299 Mark2 (Socket 2066) Intel X299 ATX Motherboard
    Corsair Vengeance 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 PC4-21300C16 2666MHz
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080Ti Gaming OC BLACK 11264MB GDDR5X
    Cprsair RM1000x PSU
    BenQ XL2720T 120Hz LED Monitor
    SteelSeries Rival 300 Black Mouse
Corsair Gaming STRAFE Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Cherry MX Blue
    Corsair VOID Stereo Gaming Headset
    WD Green 3D NAND 240GB M.2 2280 6Gbps Solid State Drive
    OCZ 240GB SSD
    WD 1TB HDD
Windows 10 Pro (Version 1803 OS Build 17134.286)
    What I have tried:

Complete format of all drives and re-installation of Windows 10
Clean wipe of NVIDIA Display Drivers with DDU in safe mode, multiple different driver versions used, same effect
Tried installing games to different hard drives
Ran memtest86 (passed) /sfc scannow (all passed) and bought a pro version of a driver installation program to get all drivers up to date.
Latest BIOS is installed and has been even before I was having these problems
Tried removing GPU and reseating + cleaning
Monitored all hardware temps and cooling is doing well
Stress tested to monitor hardware and nothing is overheating
I have had a few blue screen crashes but at the time of writing I don't have any blue screen .dmp files for some strange reason.
Also to note I clone my gaming monitor via HDMI to a dedicated streaming machine.

    The .dmp files:

    Hi re5pfs,

I strongly recommend to request a refund for Driver Booster because it's a program that you don't need. Pretty much all drivers you need you can get from ASUS or Windows Update.

Please run driver verifier using the following settings for 48 hours.
    • Special Pool
    • Force IRQL checking
    • Pool Tracking
    • Deadlock Detection
    • Security Checks
    • Miscellaneous Checks
    • Power framework delay fuzzing
    • DDI compliance checking

Warning: driver verifier could cause boot issues and/or performance issues.

Resetting driver verifier options (recommended in this order)
    1. In normal mode open an administrator command prompt and enter the below command
    2. In safe mode open an administrator command prompt and enter the below command
    3. On 3 boot failures, you'll boot automatically to the recovery options,
      • click Troubleshoot
      • go to the advanced options
      • choose command prompt
      • enter the below command

    4. Boot with the recovery media, see above 4 steps in option 3.
    5. Via the recovery options or recovery media, select a restore point prior enabling driver verifier

    Code:
    verifier /reset

    Crashed when running driver verifier
    1. Reset driver verifier
    2. Boot in normal mode if necessary
    3. Follow Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions to provide the requested logs

The software Virtual Audio Cable looks to have caused the last crash, please update, reinstall or remove it.
After doing either of them, please test your system and let me know how it goes.

After a few hours of normal operation, I was playing Battlefield 1 and the game crashed again. I have enclosed the .dmp report from the game.

I have also enclosed a new system report.

I am now re-running driver verifier with the same settings to see if I can re-create the crash (unless you tell me otherwise)

    Many thanks for your help!

Please run CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID, open it and make screenshots of the following tabs
    • CPU
    • Mainboard
    • Memory
    • SPD*
    • Graphics

*SPD shows the details of each stick, you can show the details by choosing different slots in the left upper corner.
Please make screenshots of each stick.

Please post each screenshot in your next reply/replies.
