    BSOD Playing Games

Well my computer is a year old now and only starting August 2018 i got my first BSOD. I am suspecting its because my nvidia driver was to old the game i played was Shadows Awakening. After i got BSOD i uninstall my old drivers and use DDU on safe mode after that i install Nvidia Driver 399.07 and try also 398.82 but i finalized using 398.82. Everytime i change driver i uninstall it on control panel then boot safe mode and use DDU. BTW. I deleted my first BSOD minidump file. It went smooth for about 2 weeks or more playing any games.

Now my 2nd BSOD is today playing Immortal Unchained which i installed today now i didn't delete the minidump file. Before i played this game i update my driver to 399.07 which is latest driver and got BSOD in playing this game. After i got BSOD i change my driver to 398.82 which im using now.

I didnt update motherboard BIOS 5-7 months now or change anything in my system hardware.

    Hi chubalz,

It looks like your USB storage device is giving lots of issues, could you temporary disconnect it while troubleshooting.

Yep, one issues is my Logitech mouse keeps disconnecting. This issue is almost a year now but no BSOD.

I already tested on different USB port at the back and confirmed that it is not motherboard usb fault but my logitech mouse because my Keyboard and Xbox one Wireless adapter is also a USB but no problem on them swapping different USB port.

The BSOD only occurs last month in playing NEW RELEASE Games.

Wait i also have external Hard drive but i think its running fine if it is touched the wire it get disconnected so i leave it on the table without touching it.

What are you referring Usb storage device? is it any USB connected device or only the storage which is external HDD?

Yes, It is the external Hard drive that is being referred to. There are lots of bad blocks being detected on it and paging operation errors so a faulty connection would explain that. You need to get that sorted.

With only one dump file it is difficult to provide a full analysis of the problem. Please continue to run your system and whenever you get a new BSOD provide a new set of log files - it would be helpful if you used the new beta log collector given at the end of the BSOD posting instructions.

Only if it's not already overwritten, did you install anything in the last month? If so, the minidump will be lost.

You can continue to use your mouse, I was only referring to your external HDD.

I install only games no software for more than 3-4 months if i remember correctly.

I manualy deleted the first minidump file in windows folder. If it cant be recovered? i will wait for another BSOD.

    Hopefully no more BSOD =)

Have you checked in Recycle Bin for the deleted minidump file?
