The error displayed was a read error c000000e.
With the log generic test passing the sectors may be ok unless this is a false negative.
The problem(s) could be with the bitmap and boot sector etc.

This is a link on hard and soft bad sectors:
    https://www.howtogeek.com/173463/bad...n-do-about-it/

For the bootrec /fixboot there was no image.
The report was that it displayed access denied the first time?
And it did not display access denied the second time?

Post images into the thread for results on these tabs:
    a) Health (SMART)
    b) Benchmark
    c) Full error scan
Thank you for the reply. Well, I would like to say that I'm quite shocked after what I saw during Full Error Scan. After the last ''OK'' mark, the software didn't respond for a while and the rest of the boxes ended up all in red. I believe this can settle the final diagnosis that my hard drive is probably dead or it was born dead since the laptop is only 2 months old.

Regarding the backup, I have nothing important to lose in the drive so I'm thinking about wiping the whole drive through the part allocation stage during windows installation before sending the laptop for repair.

    And here are the results;

After booting from the Windows Usb drive it didn't deny however after the ''bootrec /scanos'' command and ''bootrec /rebuildbcd'' it said ''Total identified Windows installations: 0''

I didn't screenshot it but upon wish I can enter the codes again and provide a screenshot.

    Regards.

I assume not because there was no OS installed in the first place.

You never mentioned that before. You're right though, wiping it is the way to go since that is the way you received it and it has no bearing at all on the fact that the drive is defective.

Good luck. Please let us know how you make out.

Thank you very much to everyone who spared their time to help me. I will update the thread once I receive an information from the manufacturer so that it can be helpful to those in need.

Note that the HD Tune displayed: Health status: OK

If you have time, for academic purposed, if possible please run HD Sentinel (free or trial edition) and Crystal Disk.

Some software only run SMART and viewers can be misled when the results display OK
