    Getting a BSOD on Startup

For the last several days, my computer has been crashing shortly after I boot up in the morning. I don’t know what causes it because I was in another room. So I try booting up again and everything is OK.

Have you recently installed or updated Malwarebytes Anti-Malware? A component of MBAM which has been causing problems for many people over the last few months is showing up in the callstack that bugchecked your system. Your callstack looks different compared to most of the others I've seen who were experiencing that problem, though. Regardless, I'd recommend disabling the Web Protection component of MBAM and testing the system to see if the problems continue.

I'd also recommend using HP Support Assistant to manually check for and apply any and all updates it makes available. You often have to repeatedly do several "check, install, reboot" sequences until there are no more updates to apply after the final check. BIOS updates in particular can help with wake/sleep issues which I suspect you may be experiencing based on the system uptime from the dump.

I ran HP Support Asst. There is a firmware update that I'll apply right away.

I installed the HP updates and removed real-time protection from MBAM. No crashes since then.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help!

I'm happy to help when I can. I think you've probably got it sorted but please let us know if the problems return. Good luck!
