BSOD after doing a clean install while installing Steam games

My computer was running terribly slow, so I made a backup and did a clean install. Shortly after completing, I started downloading Dota 2 from Steam and also tried installing Fortnite, but my computer crashed. I didn't manage to catch the error code exactly on the blue screen, something related to power?

This is part of your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M driver.

According to the dump your driver is dated Tue Oct 18 12:15:45 2016 but according to the Dxdiag output you have version 391.35 dated 3/22/2018. Don't understand why the dump is showing a date different than the Dxdiag output. 391.35 is the latest driver available for your video card.

I suggest completely uninstalling the Nvidia display drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from WagnardMobile (near bottom of page) then download (again) the latest driver for you Nvidia card here: NVIDIA Driver Downloads

Then do a custom install of only the NVidia graphics driver and the PhysX driver.

See if that gets rid of the problem.

It might have been because I ran the log collector, installed the latest driver, and then figured I should re-run the log collector because I just installed something. I will try your suggestion though.

Do you think there might be another issue besides something related to the graphics drivers?

Are you doing any overclocking of CPU or memory? If so, setting them to their nominal values might also help.
Not sure if you can do this with an Alienware laptop, just a thought though.

No, I'm not overclocking. How do I use the DDU tool? I did the clean and restart option, but I just checked device manager and I see that the Nvidia driver is still installed
