There is a DDU Guide/Tutorial on the same page you download it from.
Ok so I completely uninstalled all Nvidia drivers and made sure by checking the Device Manager and noticing that the Nvidia card isn't even showing up anymore (screenshot below).

    Attachment 198242

I then used GeForce Experience to do a custom installation of only the graphics driver and the PhysX driver. I then restarted my laptop, but it seemed to freeze during the black screen with the blue Windows logo on it. I held the power button to shut it off, then waited a second and turned it on again. This time, I made it to the login screen and was able to log in (this is where we are now).

Should I run that dm log collector again? I feel like there is still another problem if I got stuck at that Windows screen.

You should have waited at the black screen. I don't know why but when messing with video it can sit there for several minutes before continuing. You have to have some patience.

Run the collector again if you get a BSOD.

Ok I will be more patient next time.

Is it strange that my computer is running Dota 2 incredibly slowly when there are pretty much no programs installed (because of the reinstallation of Windows)?

That's may be partly because the Nvidia 3D driver has not been installed. Hold off on that a bit and see if any BSODs happen. If not then go ahead and repeat the DDU / Nvidia install but do the full Nvidia install and see how Dota 2 runs and if the BSODs return or not.

Ok so no BSOD's were happening so I repeated the DDU and did the Nvidia full install. After a while, I hit 2 BSOD's with the same critical error message: DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE.

    Perform the following steps:

    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) sfc /scannow
    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    4) chkdsk /scan
    5) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    6) Using device manager > uninstall igdkmd64.sys (Intel GPU drivers) IGFX > reinstall from the Dell website
The best tested drivers are from the computer manufacturer's website and are preferred.
If the driver is not available then use the Intel website
    IntelĀ® Driver & Support Assistant

    7) If there are any future BSOD > run the BETA log collector and post a zip into this thread:

The beta log collector is on the bottom of this webpage:
BSOD - Posting Instructions - Windows 10 Forums
    (extract > open)

    8) If the computer has Ccleaner > click windows tab > scroll down to system and advanced > post an image into the thread

    9) In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings
    a) > on the advanced tab under startup and recovery > click settings > post an image of the startup and recovery into the thread.
    b) > on the advanced tab under performance > click on settings > under performance options > click on the advanced tab > under virtual memory > click on change > post an image of the virtual memory tab into the thread

    10) Run HD Tune: (free edition)
    https://www.hdtune.com/
Post images into the thread for results on these tabs:
    a) Health (SMART)
    b) Benchmark
    c) Full error scan

    11) After all of the above steps > open device manager > click view > show hidden devices > expand all rows > look for any row displaying an icon that is a yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark or unknown device

    12) Run the Dell diagnostics and report the results into the thread:

The beta log collector is on the bottom of this webpage:

    (extract > open)

    8) If the computer has Ccleaner > click windows tab > scroll down to system and advanced > post an image into the thread

    9) In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings

Just so I'm understanding you perfectly, step #7 was just a side comment, correct? There is a slight ambiguity in the way you wrote that. It almost seems like I should only do steps 7,8,9,10 if I get another BSOD. Is this what you meant? Or did you mean that I should do steps 1-6 and 8-10 right now?

    Perform all steps.
There are two log collectors: DM and BETA
The beta at some time will replace the DM log collector.
The beta log collector collects more files and more useful information.
