BSOD Driver verifier when updating to Windows 10 1803
Last week, my PC asked to run Windows 10 update. I ran it a couple of days ago. The update is from version 1709 (current and working without problems) to version 1803.
However, when it's done and my PC starts to boot again, I get the following BSOD:
DRIVER VERIFIER DETECTED VIOLATION
iaStorV.sys
I checked my RAM memory with memtest which returned with 0 errors after multiple hours. Btw, all my hardware is practically new, so I suspect it's a driver issue.
After a couple of these BSODs, the update was automatically reverted and I'm now safely back on 1709 which is working perfectly.
Is there any incentive to upgrade? How do I disable these updates?
Or what could be the problem? I checked my crashdump folder and BlueScreenView, but there was no dump file visible.
