BSOD Critical_Process_Died at random times.

I just reset my laptop using the recovery mode in windows. I have updated most of my drivers and currently have multiple BSOD per day. Currently, it is at 13 BSOD in the last 24 hours. These BSODs happen when I am browsing chrome, updating windows, and playing games. I was not able to find a process that would trigger a BSOD, it would just happen. But just before the BSOD typically the computer becomes unresponsive but the audio is fine. Then the computer unfreezes but taskbar becomes unresponsive. Finally, the computer BSOD where it shows the error: Critical_Process_Died and the % stays at 0 until the computer just shuts down. The BSOD does not seem to create a minidump file.

Hi there,

there are no dmp files. Please dont use CCleaner or other cleaning tool because they remove the bsod dumps.
Also check if windows is configured to create dumps:

BSOD Minidump - Configure to Create in Windows 10 How to configure Windows 10 to configure Dump Files to be written in the event of a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD).

Please wait for another few bluescreens and upload an new log.

Please check your controller and chipset drivers, maybe go back to an previous version.

So I contacted the manufacture and was unable to roll back the bios driver, but I was able to roll back the chipset driver. Also, there was a large windows update (Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803). Looks like my computer is stable for now and have set up my computer to log small memory dumps. I will continue to monitor if there are anymore BSOD.
