BSOD on startup, freezing reinstall of windows no help

    Hello,

My Wifes PC has hit some BSOD issues that to my attempts i have not been able to solve.

    Errors she has received:
    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    KERNEL_AUTO_BOOST_INVALID_LOCK_RELEASE
    MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION
    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

the machine check exception is by far the most often. It occurs after a minute or two from reboot.

    troubleshooting i have done:
    case blow out
    reseating HDs and Graphics card
moving power to outlet from power strip
    BIOS update
Driver update-Graphics, keyboard, headset, mouse (anything i could find)
Windows 10 64bit fresh install on the SSD from a fresh USB image

was able to get the log collector to run after multiple attempts.

Any help would be appreciated cause i am at a loss!

    Diagnostic Test

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

    Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

Do you have a system on which you could test parts? Assuming the issue is with the hardware, a system to test on would be the easiest to find the cause.

The sockets are the same, and both motherboards support either CPUs.

Could you test the CPU on the second pc.

Do you know someone who could do it for you?
Is there a store nearby where you can get thermal paste?
