BSOD when AOMEI Backupper starts

Have had two occurrences of this BSOD but since the AOMEI product has previously been running for quite some time with no problem I think this was triggered by something else.
I suspect that it has something to do with the "sleep" facility used by aVast Clean Up.

can't help you on this one -- but depending on what your needs are I think a huge number of people on this Forum use Macrium Reflect with very few - if any problems-- for most things the FREE version is fine, for more features the commercial version is also popular here.

I removed AOMEI Backupper three weeks ago and went back to Acronis True Image.
So far no recurrence of the BSOD.

On what do you base your presumption of piracy?
I purchased a licence for all the software products that I have mentioned here.

Remove all piracy, crack, software or tools used to bypass the activation of software for Microsoft and non-Microsoft software.

Then run the BETA log collector and post a new zip into this thread:

Thanks for pointing that out. I'd forgotten about that Hosts entry.
It's a hangover from when I was troubleshooting some problems caused by a trial version of CCleaner.
I don't use Piriform products. Pirated or legal.
