Well I'm back. I removed the RME audio interface from my system and uninstalled the software, so fireface_64.sys should no longer be part of this equation.

After many weeks of fairly stable computing, I am now getting hard crashes with no BSOD. My mouse will freeze for a second along with everything else (including audio which makes it make a long ERRRRRRNNNNNNN sound) and then the computer will shut off. It's almost like the power got cut but it's not that instantaneous. I had a friend suggest it could be the power supply.

I'm pretty much on my last straw here. Feels like a hardware issue so looking for a new computer soon. Still, I'd like to know if there were any driver issues.
    Here's my beta log collector.

    1) There is one RAM module that is different from the other three modules.
    2) Remove this module and reevaluate the computer.
    3) Open device manager > click view > click show hidden devices > manually expand all rows > look for any row with a yellow triangle and black exclamation mark or unknown device > post images into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive share links
    4) Make sure that there is no overclocking during the troubleshooting
    5) The BIOS: Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. V2.6, 10/8/2013
    Upgrade the BIOS: 2.6 > 2.8

Hey zbook thanks for replying again.

    1) There are actually 2 modules that are different. They're the exact same specs other than the model number. I had to buy 2 different sets because of height clearance issues inside the case. But I can take them out like I had before.
    5) I've tried to upgrade the BIOS before and the methods they said to do were unsuccessful. IIRC, there is a way to do it off a USB stick and another with their Live utility. But neither seemed to work.

I'll get back to you on the others.

The log file displayed three RAM modules ending in GAB and one RAM module ending in GXM.
Please report the findings when you view the RAM modules.

    1) That's bizarre about the RAM. There are definitely 2 of each. 2 GXM and 2 GAB.
    2) Back to 16GB of RAM.
    3) There were 3 unknown devices under "Other Device." They were the Oculus Rift sensors that plug-in via USB. I unplugged those and the yellow triangles went away. I still have the Oculus software installed so I uninstalled that as well.
    4) I've never used over-clocking.

Well everything was fine until it wasn't. Seems more stable but still had a crash just now. The mouse cursor freezes up, everything is unresponsive and then after about 10secs the computer shuts off. No blue screen. I've attached the beta log collector again.DBECK-DESKTOP (2018-11-15 17 11).zip

Thanks again for your patience with this.

Which software is in use for temperature monitoring?

    Check PSU voltages in BIOS

What are the BIOS 3.3, 5 and 12 voltage values?

What are the CPU voltage and frequency?

You are using an old version of the beta log collector. The latest one is in the BSOD Posting Instructions.

Make sure the RAM modules are in slots 2 and 4 when counting from the CPU side.

My phone is being stubborn about uploading pictures right now.

I have no software for temperature monitoring. I've never really done that stuff. Do you have something to recommend?

The BIOS is set to just run in the "Standard" configuration. No ECO mode or Overclock.

I didn't see any PSU voltages in the BIOS.

    BIOS 3.3 = 3.296V
    BIOS 5 = 5.198V
    BIOS 12 = 12.408V

    CPU Core Voltage = 1.056V @ 4.000GHz
Core VID = 0.8875V - not sure what this one is but another voltage I saw listed.
