Well, it didn't work last time. I installed linux but it cannot access or edit windows partition because of the fast start option, which I cant disable. Could you maybe give me the exact command to imput to copy the file from my USB (E:) to my windows directory with the boot file F: . I'm not tech savvy at all.

The command to copy a file or folder is "copy {origin} {destination" where 'destination' needs to be put in double quotes
    Code:
    copy E:\bootres.dll "F:\Windows\Boot\resources\custom"
In the example I assume the file is not in any folder on your USB.

Welp, looks like that didn't work either... Should I try reinstalling windows from the iso I got, or is there something else that can be done?

I get the same bsod and automatic repair with the same 21a error. Replacing the file doesnt seem to do anything. Tried resetting the damn thing, but it tells me either the drive is locked or the partition is missing.

The file replacement does not give any errors?

If you're prepared to basically start all over again, you can always reinstall Windows from the ISO.
I'm not sure what's going on on your system, but it sounds like there's either more corruption or there's some unknown hardware issue.
