    BSOD/Freezing from gaming/Youtube

Hello! I get BSOD at what seems to be at random times. It could BSOD with in minutes of starting my PC or after a couple of hours of it running or at anytime in between. I believe it to be a driver issue or a Memory issue but I am uncertain. I am running four memory sticks and run into hardware issue, but if I run just two of the sticks doesn't matter what order the sticks are they run fine. I ran memory test and it did not find anything
I usually only have Steam and Chrome open when this occurs.

The memory test we recommend has to be run for 8 passes, I would recommend running the test with one stick at a time since otherwise it would take too long.

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

I have ran Memtest86 before in the past but not the Memtest86+ and i couldn't get Memtest86+ to boot. I ran Memtest86 and it found two errors.

The failure to boot may be due to you needing to turn on legacy boot in the BIOS and turn off secure boot and fast boot. The new UEFI boot has a built in security to try and prevent booting from USB devices. Refer to your motherboard manual for the exact settings, there is sometimes one called CSM (compatibility support module) setting that needs to be enabled.

Yes we believe memtest86+ gives more reliable results and is the one we have most experience with.

Looking at the BIOS section in your motherboard manual it looks as if you will need to disable the Windows 8/8.1 Feature. This will turn off UEFI so that you can boot from the USB.

After you have run the test you can re-enable the feature.

It sounds as if you did not make the USB as a bootable drive. It does not need to find the operating system, memtest86+ runs as a stand alone program from the USB and does not require windows to be running.
