look forward to hearing what may be causing the issues.

    thanks in advance.

    Hi Funjunkie6,

There were drive problems noted in the log files: bad block, paging errors, I/O retried, etc.

There was only one mini dump and the debugging did not display a definitive misbehaving driver.

During the troubleshooting please make sure that there is no over clocking.

    Perform the following tests /steps:
For all tests please make sure that there are images posted into the thread.

    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) sfc /scannow
    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    4) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread
    5) chkdsk /x /f /r /v
Run the above command on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /x /f /r /v C: or chkdsk /x /f /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive letter.

    Code:
Drive: C: Free Space: 169.5 GBTotal Space: 228.8 GBFile System: NTFS Model: KINGSTON SA400S37240 SCSI Disk Device Drive: E: Free Space: 2624.7 GBTotal Space: 2861.5 GBFile System: NTFS Model: Seagate Expansion Desk USB Device Drive: G: Free Space: 774.9 GBTotal Space: 953.9 GBFile System: NTFS Model: WD Ext HDD 1021 USB Device Drive: L: Free Space: 1907.5 GBTotal Space: 1907.7 GBFile System: NTFS Model: WD My Book 1148 USB Device Drive: D: Model: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H62N SCSI CdRom Device Driver: c:\windows\system32\drivers\cdrom.sys, 10.00.16299.0015 (English), , 0 bytes
    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /x /f /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y
    reboot
This may take many hours so plan to run overnight.

    6) Use the information in this link to find the chkdsk reports in the event viewer. Copy and paste > notepad > post a one drive or drop box share link into the thread
Read Chkdsk Log in Event Viewer in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials

    7) Run HD Tune: (run the tests on each drive)
    http://www.hdtune.com/
Post images into the thread for the test results on these tabs:
    a) Health (SMART)
    b) Benchmark
    c) Full error scan

    8) Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 passes. Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
This may take hours so plan to run it overnight.
    a) Please make sure you use the Memtest86+ version 5.01 with the link below.
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
The testing is done not by time but by passes.
    The more passes the better.
There are a significant number of false negatives if fewer than 8 passes are made.
A false negative is a test pass when there is malfunctioning RAM.
There is 8 GB of RAM on the computer.
    Memtest86+ version 5.01 testing takes approximately 1 - 2 hours /GB RAM
Just 1 error is a fail and you can abort testing.
Then test 1 RAM module at a time in the same DIMM each for 8 or more passes.
    b) When Memtest86+ version 5.01 has completed 8 or more passes use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and post an image into the thread.

    9) For any BSOD please run the BETA log collector and post a zip into the thread:
    https://www.tenforums.com/attachment...-v2-beta10.zip
    (extract > open)
Use the text and images in this thread in case there are any problems running the beta log collector: (post #5)

    10) Open file explorer > this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for: C;\windows\memory.dmp > zip > post a one drive or drop box share link into the thread

    11) Update the specs in the "My Computer" section: (for the motherboard please post information about the revision: rev. 1.0, rev. 2.0, rev. 1.1, etc.

System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums:

In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.
After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.

Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, port replicator, docking station, USB wireless network card, etc.)
    https://www.tenforums.com/profile.php?do=extra

    12) Open device manager > click view > show hidden devices > expand all rows > look for any row with an icon that is a yellow triangle with black exclamation mark or unknown device > post images into the thread

The above steps do not have to be performed in the sequence as long as all of the steps are completed.

These tests can be run overnight:

    a) Memtest86+ version 5.01
    b) HD Tune full error scan
    c) chkdsk /x /f /r /v
