I get BSOD while in Word after 30-45 sec. of typing

Now have the correct file uploaded ( I think). Getting BSOD after only typing in Word for 30-45 seconds. there is never any draft saved, and if I do save the text, it is in read only mode, so I cant correct or add to it.

    Hello Karen,

You have uploaded the wrong file. Please run the Log collector and load the file that is created on your desktop.

    Thanks :)

Just edited my post. Hope you can help me. Thanks.
It is still showing the wrong file - we want the one created on your desktop which will have todays date in the file name.

The beta10 log collector zip file that you downloaded has to be extracted. You then navigate to the extracted folder and double click on the Log collector shortcut. This then runs a program which will eventually create a new zip file on your desktop, just follow the prompts.

The new zipfile is the one you need to upload.

DESKTOP- 062AEUS-Fri-05018-2018 in previous communication IS the result of the diagnostic from the log collector.
    Thankks.

The zip file you uploaded is from the old dm_log_collector.exe, not the new Beta 10 collector. Thats at the bottom of the instructions:

    Attachment 189336

You can tell by looking at the Processlist.txt file:

    dm_log_collector.exe "C:\Users\Karen Brady\Downloads\dm_log_collector.exe"

I have tried the beta version. I get a quick flash of black screen (command prompt) and then nothing.

Did you unzip the file log collector v2-beta10.zip after downloading it? That should create a log collector v2-beta10 folder. Open it then run the log-collector shortcut. That will open a log-collector Command Prompt window:

    Attachment 189667

Press Enter. It opens and closes a Powershell window during the collection process. It should leave a zip file on your Desktop called DESKTOP (2018-05-21 12 38).zip where the the date and time it was run is part of the file name. That's what we want you to upload here.

    Hi, Ztrucker!
OK Thanks for your explicit directions. Such a help for a frustrated simple user like me. Final zip file attached.

Glad I could help. We should include directions similar to that with the Beta zip file.

Now let's see what Phil finds when he reviews the files in the zip you uploaded.
