If possible post images of what is seen in safe mode.
If you can get into safe mode that means that you are able to boot.
Please post images of what is seen and indicate the steps you made to get into safe mode.

This is information of POST troubleshooting:
    What is POST?
    POST troubleshooting steps
    Computer POST and beep codes

There are steps that have not yet been tried to fix the boot but more information is needed about what is happening now.

    To save important files consider:
    a) moving the drive to another computer > backup files
    b) moving the drive to a hardware enclosure > backup files
    c) using Ubuntu / Linux

Use Ubuntu Live CD to Backup Files from Your Dead Windows Computer

So I've booted into Macrium Reflect through my USB. It won't detect Windows, and won't let me add a Windows installation for the SSD, which is where Windows is (or was). It's also showing the file system for the SSD as "Empty".

I can't select the SSD at all and it's greyed out:
    Attachment 190018

Says the file system is "Empty"
    Attachment 190019

It wouldn't show my Windows installation, and using "Add" wouldn't work either as it only referred to the two 1TB harddrives I have installed and not the SSD. One of the harddrives is now showing as the C:\ drive. The C:\ drive was my SSD before the update

@Clintlgm recommended Macrium boot repair in another thread and may have some tips.

    Zbook,

I'm not sure what exactly to do here. Should I PM @Clintlgm and ask for advice?

I can't seem to repair the boot drive using Macrium Reflect because the SSD is completely greyed out and the file system reads 'empty', and I can't manually add the Windows installation because it thinks C:\Windows is one of my 1TB harddrives. I don't know what to do

    Thanks

There is a Ten Forums forum that focuses on Backup and Restore.

It is posting I think, it just won't load windows. I don't see any error messages anywhere or any blue screens, I'm really confused what's happened but I think it's clear that the update did this. When I load my installation media it says "It looks like you started an upgrade and booted from installation media. If you want to continue with the upgrade, remove the media from your PC and click Yes. If you want to perform a clean installation instead click No." If I click Yes the looping just keeps happening.

If I click No it takes me to the usual installation/repair stuff that we've tried. If I go into CMD and type bcdedit so I can use the steps from here (Boot into Safe Mode on Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials) to boot into safe mode, I get an error saying something like the external volume has been altered (the error is in one of the images I have previously posted here).

If I try to install Windows using the installation media it only shows up one of my HDDs as an option, and not the SSD. At this point I'm happy to clean reinstall Windows and lose the data that is on my SSD (although not my HDDs). If you can't think of any other fixes, how can I fresh install windows 10? Is there a way to erase my SSD from outside Windows?

Also, how do I know if my PC isn't posting? I can get into the BIOS and change settings around, and it loads the installation media fine most of the time (sometimes it wasn't loading and got stuck on the Windows logo, but atm its fine) so I assume it's posting. I might try unplugging the HDDs and see if that works. I know I have a budget motherboard and I have made some minor changes to the system over time like adding an SSD for the OS and using 2 HDDs as storage devices. The PC also only uses sata @ 3.0gbps.

Sorry for the wall of text :)
Just to add to what has already been said - Judging by where you are I would proceed by removing both HDD units and leaving just the SSD in your system. Then I would use installation media to do a new clean install of W10 on the SSD choosing to remove all existing partitions on the SSD and start afresh. Then afterwards you can reconnect the 2 HDDs and continue to install programs and apps choosing where to install the apps as appropriate. You may have to do some clean up of the HDDs but you should be able to get the system working again. Of course you will lose anything you had on the SSD but it sounds as if you are OK to do that.

    Hi.
I agree, you are probably looking at a clean install, and you should disconnect the 1TB drives before doing that. But, it appears that the SSD is not seen at all, so you'll never be able to install W10 to it. I would remove cables and replace with known-working ones, just to make sure that's not the problem. I would also connect the known-working cables to known-working ports on the MB to see if that makes a difference. Of course, if the SSD is recognized in the BIOS, then cables/ports are not the problem.

Yes, it appears that your SSD is RAW blank, I've heard of this happening with Intel SSD the first time I've seen it on a Sandisk. I have no knowledge of Sandisk SSD. It looks to me like if you don't have a backup image to restore, you're going to have to Clean Install. That SSD may be crashed You'll find that out when you clean install. there are tutorials here to use to clean install. Not sure they have on if you have to install IRST RAID driver for your system if you do you I can get you through that. Look in your BIOS is your Drives are SATA or AHCI you won't need to use the RST driver it that SSD is Set to RAID and you can't change it to AHCI let us know.
