    BSOD, error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (nwifi.sys)

    Hi Community,

    on 11 april I suddenly got a bsod with the error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ( nwifi.sys )

My question is, what was the cause of the bsod, and how can I fix this error?
things I've already done: updated all driver and ran windows memory diagnostics tool, showed no errors.

    Here's a link to minidump, memory.dmp, msinfo32 and dxdiag files.!AvDOiESpsuL-gzgUiGG8YSMGlEHg

    Hi Ouahib12,

The callstack is basically the same for the thread where the crash occurs in all of the dumps:

It could be the wifi driver needs to be updated. This page has a link to an unofficial site which does a better job of offering the latest Atheros drivers than most OEMs. However, based on how infrequently the bugcheck seems to happen and the function name being called when it crashes, I'm wondering if you have a wifi printer that doesn't get used very often. If so, I'd recommend checking for updated printer software/drivers.

    Thanks for your answer,
I updated my wifi driver to the latest version on the unofficial site after I got my first bsod.
It didnít take too long before the second bsod came up again.
My wifi driver is still updated by now, but my laptop keeps bluescreening.
Iím not using a wifi printer, I only use my laptop for college.

Also, my internet speed drops heavily before the bsod pops up.
And what I forgot to mention was that I installed tunnelbear recently. It also installed an adapter ( Tunnelbear Adapter ), does this have anything to do with the error Iím facing?
