Random BSOD on new computer, drivers up to date

Hi,

this computer is around 2 months old, the only used parts in it are my sound card and graphics card which are from my previous machine.

I have been having intermittent problems with BSOD for the past couple of weeks - some days it happens multiple times but it can go a few days without any problems and I can't think of any cause for it.

The advice I have been given is to check all drivers are up to date, which I have done, but this still happens.

Could somebody please help decipher what is going wrong with my PC?

I am a bit concerned you may be overclocking or using memory at too high a clock frequency. Two of these BSOD have been attributed to hardware errors. The recommended memory for this processor is DDR4-2666, Maximum Turbo boost is 4.70GHz.

Is there anything I can do to fix this myself, or will I need to replace parts to fix this?

All memory and CPU settings can be changed in the BIOS. I suggest you go through the BIOS and adjust any that are set too high. Refer to the manual but you can also post photos of the screens if you need more help.

I don't actually know how you have set up your system - you mentioned overclocking in your first post but was that just the Turbo boost? How have you set up your memory?
