So I just got another BSOD with a different error code than all the previous ones, this one being IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, so I assume it's to do with a different problem, but don't know what's causing it.

Unfortunately it is not possible to find out any possible causes because of the insider build. Insider builds contain changes in for example the ntoskrnl (Windows kernel) for which no symbol files are available yet.
Symbol files are files with which Windbg, the tool used for dump analysis, recognizes the ntoskrnl making it possible to dive into what the ntoskrnl did at the moment of the crash. Due to lack of these files, it's not possible to do anything in Windbg.
I doubt we'll be able to get those files soon from Microsoft, because when those files are published, they are useless for the newer build since the development is x times faster.

I went and reverted the update, only updated it since it said it was available but it seems to be causing a lot more BSODs.

Since there's a new RTM build of Windows 10, Microsoft will be pushing new features the upcoming period and after that fix as much bugs as possible before the new RTM is planned. If you don't want crashes, wait some time before updating, the current phase is the one where you can expect the most instabilities.

So the other day I applied new thermal paste to the GPU and CPU, doing so caused my GPU to run 12C cooler when stress testing it, is it possible at all that the old thermal paste and whatnot caused these BSODs? It hadn't been changed in years and was fully dried out.
Also it seems like whenever HWMonitor is running my computer has the tendency to just lock up sometimes, although I don't know if this is a known issue, just uninstalled it.

From what I've read of posts from hardware experts, good thermal paste can be used for several years without problem. Thermal paste would be an indirect cause of BSODs (heating issues being the direct cause).

Ok well after reinstalling Windows, changing Windows builds and reinstalling the graphics card drivers I haven't been able to fix the BSOD errors. It's still atikmdag.sys so I'm going to revert my graphics card driver version back to this one: AMD Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.9.1 driver download
Although it's rather old iirc it was working fine with this version, so I'm hoping this will fix it..
I've attached my latest memory dump just in case

Have you gone back to the Windows Insider builds? According to the dump the build is 17134which is an insider build.

I don't even know anymore, how do I stop getting insider builds? It just updates automatically
