Windows error 0xc00000e on startup stopping updates.
Hi Guys
First time posting and relative IT novice so forgive any obvious and stupid questions. I fitted a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD in my HP Envy 17 and installed Windows 10 onto it to enhance my OS performance. Everything was fine for about 6 months until on start up I would receive a Blue screen, system recovery error 0xc00000e. However, this could be circumvented by pressing ESC into the firmware, then F10 into the BIOS settings and then exiting that which would straightaway boot up like normal without any issues.
I saw no issues in performance however the inability to restart my PC without crashing has meant I cannot install any Windows updates and I am now being warned that soon I will not receive any new updates. I tried myself to rectify the issue, however nothing has worked. I tried reinstalling Windows via a USB, formatting the SSD & HHD then reinstalling and using the recovery settings however none of these have worked. Error checks of both the SSD and the factory HHD come up with no errors either.
So I was wondering if you guys had seen this issue before or had any ideas how to fix it :)
