Crashes (restarts) when gaming
Hello there,
First of all I'll link my specs:
Motherboard: ASRock 960GM-GS3 FX
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.40GHz
GPU: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 2GB GDDR5 128bit GAMING 2G
RAM: KINGSTON KVR16N11S8/4, 4GB DDR3, 1600MHz
PSU: Chieftec SMART Series GPS-600A8
HDD: Western Digital 1TB WD10EZEX 7200 RPM
SSD: Kingston SSDNow UV400 120GB
New motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P FX
And now my problem. For the last 2 months I've been having problems with my computer (at first I had random freezes - had to restart my computer for it to work again, for a few hours it would work fine then the problem would appear and it would be so frequent after the first appearence that I could not use my pc at all - it restarts even when the windows is loading - no BSOD). I went with my computer to a service for a diagnosing. They said it was probably the motherboard or maybe the CPU(5% chance which I don't think it is the problem). After that I bought a new motherboard. Thought my problems would be fixed but apparently they weren't.
Now instead of freezes my pc automatically restarts. When I had some time I went to another service. They said it was the RAM cause one had a higher frequency than the other (one was 1600 and the other 1333). The diagnosing was free, so I didn't complain much(tipped'em anyway). I already tried using only one memory, use a different slot, etc etc but not after I bought the new motherboard so I thought, maybe that's it, maybe I ommited that but I didn't. For now I'm using my old MB/CPU/RAM, a dual core Intel (3Ghz) and 4GB RAM (DDR2) with the same SSD/HDD/Power supply. It works fine.
I've tried from time to time to test it again and do some stuff myself but couldn't fix it. At the moment I'm using the 1333 RAM only. Whenever I'm playing something the computer crashes. It runs fine for 2-3 hours then it restarts frequently. I can reproduce the problem if I run 3DMark - Fire Strike, in ~1 minute it crashes.
I'd love some help, I'm tired of this problem.
