All of the drivers are already installed and replacement drivers can be installed only if the other drivers are uninstalled.
It cannot have two drivers installed at the same time.
It will not let you install a driver that is older than the existing driver.
So in the Microsoft instructions it indicated that the driver needs to be uninstalled first.
Attempting to install the driver will fail unless the instructions are followed.

The driver from Gigabyte that displays LAN is insufficient information. It does not indicate whether it is wireless or wired.
Most computer websites have an option to click for detailed information. If you have that option on the Gigabyte website you should view the detailed information to make sure that it matches the driver that you want to uninstall.
If you cannot get the information that you are seeking then you must use the Intel website.
Once the proper driver is identified:
You can download the driver to the desktop > disconnect internet > this prevents windows from installing a new driver > then install the new driver from the desktop
