Random restart from time to time, bugcheck 0x00000124

    Hello there.

Since upgrading my PC to windows 10 (I was on Windows 7 with the same hardware beforehand and had no issues), I am repeatedly experiencing random restarts - the computer goes to the initial black booting screen with the bios info on it. Upon checking event viewer, I find the following:
    Code:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xffffd0891f3358f8, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\022418-22093-01.dmp. Report Id: c15e7c3b-a6d9-444b-a9f0-e52703d8e558.

I have updated all of my drivers (to the best of my knowledge) and as far as I am aware there are no issues there.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

After browsing, I came across the suggestion to 'disable fast start up', so I have done so. I'll update with any details if I notice any significant changes.

    Rule 4
No piracy or discussion of piracy allowed at all. Such as software, music, videos and other intellectual property violations (e.g. downloading youtube videos locally etc) - it is forum policy that no help shall be given to people who knowingly steal software or services.

One of the main reasons for this is that the act of pirating the software will inevitably change the working of the software and make investigation and repair impossible. Please install a legitimate copy of the software and if you are still experiencing the issue we will be please to assist - No further assistance will be provided until we are satisfied that the software is genuine.

That’s odd, I wasn’t aware I had any pirated software installed. Can you tell me what software it is so I can remove it?

There are entries in the hosts.txt to bypass the activation of Adobe products.
