You have to work through the possibilities systematically. Memtest86+ needs to be run on each RAM stick to confirm which one is faulty. Remember that it could be the slot of the Motherboard so the proper way is to test the faulty RAM in the other slot to confirm this.
Ok, testing the second RAM stick, and it's on the 7th pass, 10th test, with no errors so far. The first one threw an error about halfway through the 4th pass. I'm going to check the thermal paste on the new CPU once that's done.
Consult the owner's manual to see the maximum amount of RAM that can be used in any DIMM. Then decided on your needs. When replacing RAM make sure the modules are in pairs with the same SKU so that there is no mismatched RAM. This scanner is often useful to get an idea about what is available: Crucial System Scanner | Crucial.com
I did that before purchasing the new stick of RAM. I got the exact same one as the one already installed. The motherboard supports DDR3 up to 32GB at 2600 MHz.
The test did 8 passes with no errors. So one stick is bad.

I tried to, from my phone, and it wouldn't load the image into the post. It would allow me to select the photo, but once I tapped "Upload" the little circle thing would appear, then the file name would disappear and the picture wouldn't show up in the uploaded files list, even after several attempts and refreshes. It's less than 2 MB, too.
Sometime if images do not upload alternative such as one drive or drop box share links can be used to post images.
