    BSOD after Fall Creators update, 0x000000c8

    Hello.
    I'm having BSODs and other problems like start menu not working after upgrading to v1709. The strange thing is that BSODs occur only when pc turns on, meaning no BSOD when I restart. I even tried a clean install from different 1709 .ISO and still getting BSODs.

    Code:

    Hi Ztruker. Thank you.
    Previous versions of Windows 10 worked fine for almost 2 years.

    Hi, I'm not a professional, just a lurker but I had a quick look at your dump files :)

    To my knowledge, they blame SkyNET_AMD64.sys, which seems to ba a Technistat Skystar PCI driver. The one you have i think is from 2010, could you check if there are any updates for this driver?

    @catvomitThank you so much!
    Just uninstalled the driver and no more BSOD. I guess I have to remove the DVB since I Barely use it or maybe buy a new one.

    Is it really necessary to update bios? Because everything works perfectly fine now.

    The computer or motherboard manufacturers typically specify the benefit of an upgrade.
    For drivers windows does this automatically for computers.
    There is an option to turn off the default Windows updates of non-Microsoft drivers.
    For BIOS they are manual upgrades.
    For the Gigabyte BIOS update the post information is:
    1. Improve system stability
