I'm currently running the HD Tune tests. However, I figure that I should mention that the Health (Smart) scan can't get any info from my SSD. It reads the HDD properly, though.

I doubt there's any issue with the SDD drive, however: the original one was faulty, so Asus switched it during the first RMA. The new one was tested during the other two and it showed no problems, apparently.

The HD Tune cannot get SMART on drives that don't have this feature offered. This happens on some Samsung drives and may also happen for drives in RAID. Post the test results available. Use Samsung Magician for Samsung drives and use HD Sentinel for other drives.

After the steps are completed please post a new zip:

Here are the results from HD Tune. I'll post the ones from Samsung Magician later.

Both Samsung Magician and Hard Disk Sentinel fail in getting the SMART data from the SSD. Magician said something like "This drive isn't compatible".

Should I move on to the memtest?

*sighs* I'm starting to lose hope: now I can't get the laptop to boot from the USB to run memtest.

The USB drive is detected, but no boot option appears. If I try to create a new boot option from the USB, the bios won't recognize it as bootable.

Should I try the memory test described here instead? Run Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool in Windows 10 Hardware Drivers Tutorials

    1) Please run memtest86+ version 5.01 for 8 or more passes and post an image into the thread:
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

    2) Download and install HWinfo64:
    HWiNFO - Download
(once it is installed please ignore the prompt to update)
Expand drives > identify the drive that is not using smart > scroll down to features > post an image into the thread

    Note
If you have fast boot or ultra fast boot enabled in your UEFI firmware settings, then you will need to temporarily disable fast boot or ultra fast boot to be able to boot from a USB.

    1. Try another USB stick
    2. Try all USB ports (2.0 and 3.0)
    3. Maybe when using UEFI Bios you have to temporarily switch to Legacy in BIOS settings
    4. Turn off temporarily fast boot, secure boot, CSM if enabled

I'll try these methods tomorrow. I have to wake up in five hours.

Thank you very much for your patience!

    See you tomorrow.
