    BSOD (atikmdag+0x48999) in minidump

    New Win10 10.0.16299 Build 16299
    Samsung MXHPV256HDGL-0000 M.2 system drive
    Asrock X99 -11 Extreme
    i7-5930K
Saphire Radeon R9 295-X2 with AMD 22.19.677.257 driver
This is a dual GPU card
Running ServeRaid M5210 SAS raid with 2 arrays 8 rotational disks total
    Dual EVGA Titanium PSU

Get BSOD with atikmdag+0x48999 in Who Crashed analysis.
These are only dumps I get however far more frequently the system just turns off and does not throw errors.
Have checked power connections and swapped out PSU this is not a power related issue unless MB power failing or PSU connectors bad.

Dumps are certainly graphic related, cannot speak to other issue regarding system just shutting off. Thinking (hoping) its related.
System has worked well for about 2 years but recent failure caused complete rebuild with shutdown behavior appearing after rebuild.

Have had shutdown behavior with large file transfers unless in safe mode.

    Dump attached

The BSOD debugging indicated that the AMD GPU drivers had misbehaved.
    atikmpag.sys
    atikmdag.sys
In the files were multiple reports of drive file system corruption.

For all tests/steps please post images into the thread.
If there are any problems posting images please use one drive or drop box share links.

    1) Please update the system specs in the "My Computer" section:
System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums:
System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums Site Use Tutorials
In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.
After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.
System Info - See Your System Specs - Windows 7 Help Forums

Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, etc.)

    2) open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    3) sfc /scannow
    4) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    5) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    6) chdsk /x /f /r
This may take many hours so plan to run overnight.
Run this command on all partitions using the syntax: chkdsk /x /f /r C: or chkdsk /x /f /r D: modifying the drive letter to the applicable drive

    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /x /f /r
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y
    reboot

    7) Use the information in this link to find the chkdsk / /f /r reports in the event viewer. Use copy and paste into notepad > save to desktop > post into the thread using one drive or drop box share links:
Read Chkdsk Log in Event Viewer in Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials

    8) Make sure that there is no over clocking during the troubleshooting.

    10) Uninstall everything AMD using Display driver uninstaller and install new drivers from the AMD website.

    11) Be sure the "clean install" box is checked and only install the graphics driver.

    12) Run HD Sentinel: (free or trial edition)Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring
    1) click disk > surface test > post image into the thread
(this may take several hours to complete)
Post images of each of these tabs into the thread:
    2) Overview tab
    3) Temperature
    4) SMART
