Random BSOD caused by external hard drive or USB

    Hi Folks,

I have a newly built computer with windows 10 installed, AMD Fx 8350, Asrock 970 pro3 motherboard,650 watt GPU, 7970 HD videocard, everything is plugged in properly, all drivers up to date, AMD Chipset drivers installed as well. I am expierencing 2 issues at the moment. When I plug in my external hard drive in the USB 3.0, it randomly disconnects and connects back up in a second or 2, this gets annoying as I need it to play movies, install programs etc. I have made sure that all the power settings are "do not turn off usb" in the power options. ALso I have made sure that in the device manager, the power management options are all unticked. My other issue is the random BSOD which usually have the error: Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation. With the event data: \Device\HarddiskVolume4 . I have made sure that the external USB is scanned and free from errors with 3rd party software.
This is the other error I get: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. This is the detail:
    Code:

The third error is : The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff80dd9903aa7, 0xffff9e84efa76738, 0xffff9e84efa75f80). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: c0042f26-a53e-4aa9-9c6c-69d69b8d3e4b. Memory dump attached. EDit: will attach later as I need to sort out the permission crap from windows 10

Any help is appreciated it :)

Please fill in your system specs
Please follow this tutorial and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely including PSU, cooling and other used stuff like mouse, keyboard, monitor, case, etc.
The PSU, cooling and other stuff are NOT mentioned in the tool.

In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'. After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.

Possibly, but it also depends on the voltages the PSU provides, there are many that fail with the voltages.

I have tested it out with a 9590fx and 390x with my mates computer and its working fine, his 750w PSU was doing the same thing with my PC!
