    BSOD after uninstalling Ksapersky

    Hi
I have had three instances of BSOD and also some very high CPU levels (100% for more than half an hour) after uninstalling Kaspersky to use only Defender and Malware Bytes. No other programs have been installed. The Laptop is totally updated.
    Thank you for any tips.

Dump indicates a problem with RTKVHD64.sys.

See if you can find a newer driver, maybe Windows Update. If not, try rolling the driver for your Audio back a level, see if that helps.

You also have mismatched memory so it would be a good idea to remove the 4GB DIMM, see if that gives you better stability.

    Hi,
thanks. The memory has been installed in the Laptop from day one though and has never given any problems.
The high CPU usage is occasional but bad enough to warrant shutting the PC down. Also, sporadically, basic functions like the Windows taskbar or Settings will not work. After a while, they're back.
I don't know if that sheds further light on the issue.
    Thank you again
