OK, I finished the Chkdsk and got the report following the instructions for saving out the Chkdisk and Wininit reports. It's in some weird format with the .evtx extension. Can I upload that here for some knowledgeable soul to look over since my situation and help is being offered hear, makes sense rather than having multiple threads to be bouncing back and forth too...

The chkdsk report in event view is typically txt. Not sure that the evtx can be opened and read with default software. On event viewer see if there is another tab that may display the results in txt.
Isn't there a friendly and a xml view?

I was told to upload a link to the files via the Dropbox so here it is...

    Dropbox - LocaleMetaData

Oh and the HDTune .... not sure what tabs on that I'm supposed to test and show screen shots of. There are so many and I got confused.

For HD Tune please test all drives and post 3 images for each drive:
    Health (SMART)
    Benchmark
    Full error scan

Also, upon reviewing my whole HD array I found this little bit. Not sure why it's there unless it's for booting purposes... There is a partition with nothing and no space. Seems odd to me...

I was REALLY hoping the Chkdsk scan and repair did some good but nope. Had a BSoD just now. I was actually running the HD Tune Full Error Scan on the Hitachi drive because of the notation at the bottom of it's Health scan (see above).

Seems to happen when I'm doing allot on line. If I've only got one tab or maybe two open in Firefox I'm fine but when I have 4 or more open that's when it seems to set off the BSoD... just an observation.. probably not the cause but something I notice...

So here is where I am. I completely unplugged and disconnected the rig. Took most of it apart and reseated what I could including memory, NVIDIA graphics and hard drives. Did away with my backup external to get that out of the elimination process. Blew the box out and reconnected everything. Ran into a boot issue where I think because I moved where the drives where the BIOS couldn't find the boot drive. So hit F12, got that going in the right direction. Currently seems OK but I've only been booted in for 1/2 hour.

Running the HD Tune getting the same error with the Hitachi drive but the program is telling me it's healthy otherwise. Did a one pass on it under the Benchmark and not sure what this reads but it's kinda weird to me.....
