This just came to mind; I'm an Insider now on build 10525, so our findings may be different. I should adhere to the Insider thread so as not to cause confusion.

Now after one reboot, mail notification started appearing in action center and also in lock screen. Show notification from these apps also has mail. But still calendar is not there in Show notification from these apps, but notifiction of calendar appears in lock screen, but not inaction center.

That is want we all need an answer to. Sometimes I get notifications but most of the time I do not.
When I get Calendar notifications they ONLY occur at 6 am.

I just want to say everyone is having a problem. Sometimes notifications work, other days they do not work.
There is no problem with your computer. I hope Microsoft has an UPDATE that fixes these problems soon.

So was Mail removed from "Show notification from these apps"? I have it enabled in Mail settings. Or is it just my PC?

check for new updates, MS just released 3 to 4 new updates. If you have not gotten any new updates TODAY go into settings and check for new updates. Just a suggestion.

The updates did help my boot time, and my mail notifications in action center are actually working better. :)
