Just to clarify are you saying in MBAM Pro "Advanced Settings" uncheck Start Malwarebytes Anti- malware with Windows?
I am going to check the MBAM forum for any notices.
I completely uninstalled Norton Security Suite and things seem better but that has happened before then gone back to bad. I think it is too soon to say uninstalling Norton is a fix. I am using Defender for now.

I found something interesting on the MBAM forum. Here is a quote from the forum.
"Upgrading the Windows OS on top of an existing version can have unpredictable side effects, especially for security programs."
The recommended solution from MBAM is to uninstall and reinstall MBAM using the Clean Removal Process. Additional details can be found here.

Personally, I think the reverse is also true Security programs can have unpredictable side effects on the OS upgrade. I wish I had thought of disabling NORTON and MBAM before starting my Windows 10 upgrade.
I am currently saving my files to my 1 TB external hard drive, then I am going to uninstall MBAM and Norton (already uninstalled using the Norton Removal Tool). After that I am planning to do a CLEAN INSTALL of WINDOWS 10.
Ekhm...
1. Clean installation.
2. Turned off:
- Defender
- firewall
- av software (Panda Cloud)
3. No MBAB, no Norton, no other 'security' app.
4. All notifications are enabled.
5. All settings are correct.
6 Tried ALL solutions from this thread and few others.
NOTHING! Mail notifications does not work for me... It does not matter whether the program is running or not.
I give up. Going back to Foxmail.

edit: Foxmail can wait few hours... Just downloading new cumulative update (KB3081436). We'll se...
I found on another forum:
Mary Jo Foley reported this morning That a fix was coming within 24-48 hours. per MS. I'm guessing it will be in today's patch.
The fix will come via WU.
edit 2: Nothing has changed. This app sux :/

I don't want to get everyones hopes up but my mail and calendar alerts are working now and oddly enough MS pushed out a windows update today
That's cool. Please let us know how it goes.
Although getting them, my email notification come much later in my 10 than on my Windows phone. This also leads me to believe it's a bug in a service. For me only a delay. For others, whether the app is open or closed, it must be a service that doesn't catch the ping of a server once mail arrives there.
Looks like BRKING is offline. Here's what I got today. No help with the Mail app that I know of for the main cumulative update addressed security concerns. The Mail app fix should come as an app update soon.
