Thanks Stuart3380, just tried that and it says I must be an administrator running a console session in order to use the sfc utility. This is my personal laptop, so do I somehow need to log in as the administrator (Thanks so much for your help by the way! :) )
Actually, I´ve just checked and I am the Administrator - any suggestions?

Did you right click the Command programme and click run as Administrator? As it is your own laptop and if you are the only user you are the administrator.

    Hi Nigel,

Can you confirm if running the SFC /Scannow command works to remove this issue please?

According to this Microsoft page you may have to run SFC three times!

So I tried an elevated command prompt with SFC /scannow for a second time, it found more errors, but this time it worked. I did it once more just in case, no errors.

    Many thanks Stuart.

    Just fixed the error!!!

Try this command from an elevated command prompt (administrator)

    type - SFC /scannow

It fixed some corrupt files from the install and emails now send!
This worked for me Stuart. Cheers mate! :)
