    OE messages in trouble

Yesterday my horrible boss sent me about some dozens of email messages. I’m very often using Outlook Express 6. Just today, I’ve quickly opened my Inbox Folder and I unluckily didn’t see these emails.

Hi ShodaMoto. Welcome to the TenForums @ShodaMoto

Saw your posting. Rather surprised that that product still works.

Are you getting mail from other people? Can you send yourself an email from another account an client / browser?

Not sure where your mail resides, like hotmail or gmail, have you signed in with a browser to see if the emails are there?

I assume you checked your spam/junk folder and they are not there?

Any chance you were blocking email and by accident block a domain or your boss?

Of course there is always the possibility your boss sent to wrong address and then repeatedly used cached address.

Apply this very method for OE or repair outlook express inbox by following articles

    • In Outlook Express, click Work Offline on the File menu to terminate any transmission
    • In the Folder list, click on Outlook Express to ensure that no email or news folder is opened
    • Close the Folder list by click the X in the upper right-hand corner of the list panel
    • On the File menu, select Folder, and then select Compact All Folders.
    • This might take several minutes.
    • If an error occurs, close Outlook Express, re-open it, and begin the process again from the top
