Thank you. I tried the link and got EXACTLY the same as @sml156 above - 212 for Edge, 166 for Chrome and 140 for Firefox (Even though I don't have either Chrome or Firefox installed) and I presumably have a completely different internet connection speed.

Microsoft are cheating. CHEATING I SAY. Shame on them.

I still prefer Edge though but I'm resigned to being in the minority.

Using Firefox or IE is like going back to the 90's with all these annoying buttons and bars and things. Chrome is (I suppose, grudgingly) better than Edge but I dislike Google so that leaves me with a choice of one.

I'm using Ubuntu lately, so i have no access to Edge, Firefox 57 (Quantum) is pretty good anyway and i'm very satisfied
with it :)

I had to go to an internet Café today to print out some documents as I don't have a printer. They used Ubuntu (a change from pirated Windows last time I went).

To be honest, going to an Internet Café was like going to the '90's. As was using Ubuntu - the button didn't work!

I'm not against either (please don't misunderstand) but it was like going back in time. Thank God Ctrl+P worked in Ubuntu or I'd probably still be there reliving my youth. Coffee, cigs and terrible house music - what more could you want?

Oh i know what you mean, the old problem never really fixed, but after a while you get used to it and does not matter anymore :)

The 'see details here' link confirms that the tests were: "The Microsoft Edge team ran the Google Octane 2.0 and Apple Jetstream 1.1 benchmarks on the latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox as of 3/28/2017" so that was using Firefox 52.

Edge (1709) and Firefox 57 score almost identically for me, but Edge still has a very small 'edge' over FF in Octane, somewhat more in Jetstream (I don't have Chrome to test).

So it seems they did a good job at speeding up Firefox

I don't know what half of it means so I just ignore it. Should I search in the address bar or the search box? It seems to make no difference so why are there 2 of them? What is the chrome icon thing for? Or the blue S? Or the green thing on the left? Or the green arrow on the settings on the right? Sure I could find out but it just looks a bit antiquated. Not a bad thing - just not matching my aesthetics I guess.
