Hello everybody. I'm a new member and would like to ask a couple of questions regarding KRL's way of installing both regular and Quantum Firefox on the same desktop.

1- Does this method leave any keys in the Windows 10 Registry?
2- If I wish to un-install the portable version which is currently 58.0.2 what is the procedure? Going through Control Panel in the traditional way, or will simply deleting the new PORTABLE root folder do the trick without leaving any traces in the registry or anywhere else? Thanks!

Hi KRL. I love your post at the following link in the Windows Ten Help Forums concerning Firefox. Here's the link to it.
Here's How To Run Firefox 56 alongside Firefox 57 Solved - Windows 10 Forums

It has worked like a charm. My question is .... the Portable folder on my C Drive keeps growing. Is it possible for me to back the folder up>delete the folder on my C drive>delete the desktop shortcut>..... then from my backup>place the folder on my D drive and create a new desktop shortcut? Will it still work?

Just an observation. I was under the impression that 'placing' the portable app on your PC doesn't actually 'install' on the PC, yet I see the portable version is using the default folder in app data>roaming>mozilla. I'm scratching my head over that, and better yet, even though it appears to be sharing that profile with version 56, the extensions and themes are totally different on both versions.

    Thanks In Advance
